By late March, the ground begins to thaw and the ice starts to melt on the waterways. We’ll be outside with our cameras, enjoying the beginning of spring. I live in a country of contrasts – the snow and ice of winter giving way to the warmer days that follow!

I presume that’s Queen Anne’s lace. So delicate in the growing season, and still making a great composition for the fall.

Thank you, Reed! We are lucky, if only winter wasn’t as long. I’m not a fan. 😏

You must be greatly looking forward to that. Here, having enjoyed some rain at last, we feel as though we are having a late spring even though it is summer that is drawing to a close.

Very much so! I’d gladly see spring rain over all the snow outside. 😏
