Another scene from the countryside last summer. I love taking these walks, no hustle or bustle, just the buzz of insects and the sweet meadow smell with every step.
I like how you have hints of information in this photo – pieces of items that tell a bigger story. The tractor tires are enough to tell more of the farming that might have taken place, the leaning wooden fence tells of time gone by and the need to keep something in or out, the metal fencing that might have been used first or later or as well as the wooden fence, old equipment that has seen better days. All these things tell a story. I wonder what that low brick-like perimeter was all about (below the wood fence).
