Our woods, roadsides and gardens abound in these daisies throughout the summer. The mimic fly was on a common daisy while the fleabane stood on its own. Both attract pollinators but only one did that day.

Fleabane is a wonderful ‘weed!’ Lots of creatures will visit that multi-flowered flower head for pollen collection as well as nectar sips. Your creature looks like a furrow bee … they’re tiny and often mistook for flies.

Nice summery images, Belinda! I especially like that cheery face smiling at the world.

sunflowers have been in abundance here, but with the 100 + degrees, even they are fading fast. 😦 Beautiful daisies!!

I LOVE daisies! Pollinators love them, too, so I let them grow wild all over my property. I love the shot with the little bee. 🙂
