STOPS ALONG THE WAY

PICNIC IN THE PARK

This grey squirrel was tucking in as I passed. A felled tree makes a nice surface for dining and hikers often leave seeds and nuts for birds and squirrels, particularly in the colder months. I was glad to see that this diner was well fed.

  2. Cute capture, Belinda, just love the way they hold their paws. They make us smile even if they can be pesky rascals.

  3. Beautiful image – we have this species in the UK too, it has been introduced here. There was one out in the garden a few minutes ago. 🙂

  7. That’s not quite what I was expecting, from your title, but a nice, warm thought and another good shot.
