BELINDA GROVER PHOTOGRAPHY

STOPS ALONG THE WAY

GET CRACKING

During this unusual winter, I thought I’d try my hand at doing some studio work. Here is my first eggample 😊. Learning how to use flash: diffusing, blocking, reflecting and positioning it is a steep learning curve but fun too. Stay tuned for more…

  1. You are right … there is a lot to lighting. You did a great job here. I used to do studio work for stock photography and have been wanting to get back to it. I still have all my lights, umbrellas, soft box, backdrops but my loft above the garage is too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. I will have to time it just right!

  4. I look forward to more. This photograph shows the texture of the eggshell well along the line between light and dark.

  7. Nice Belinda! Studio photography is fun and the more you do the better the results. I did Commercial Studio work for over 50 years and was a very interesting and satisfying job to see what you could do for the final image and your client’s requests. Plus it is FUN to do!
