I featured a different variety of Salsify in one of my recent posts. Some are cultivated, others grow in the wild. I saw this one growing in a field with other wildflowers. Another elegant “weed”.

If I like the flowers of a so-called weed, I leave it wherever it has decided to grow 🙂

Some weeds are very nice to look at too. I suppose it depends on where they are growing.

For the most part, I think they’re great. Not only for their looks but for the pollinators they attract.

They are simply plants that are growing where we don’t want them to grow. I bet if we planted them on purpose they would look fine.
