Lovely shot, Belinda. Like a lady with an upswept bun. 😉
I’ve seen a great many black swallowtail larva on QAL plants this year, from tiny newly hatched, up to 3″ striped giants. Good to see.
I have always liked Queen Anne’s Lace. It looks lovely with its tiny flowers as they dance in the breeze. I was in Michigan recently to visit with family and took a quad bike ride in the woods. Queen Anne’s Lace was everywhere as was the Goldenrod. I miss the Michigan woods.

We don’t see too many of these nearby, so it is very nice to see them here. 🙂

I really like these flowers.
It must have been nice to be back in the Michigan woods and see them again!

It sure was, Belinda, great to see my dad, sister, and my kiddos! It’s a three-day drive or a 3.5 hour flight. Amazing!
