A pretty slaty blue. Hope you’ll find more as we head into fall.
We get the big pond hawks which cruise over our backyard eating mosquitoes (yay), but they never seem to rest on anything.

Not like these blue ones, there are some large, much darker flies with four wings. They are fun to watch!

Though we are many thousands of miles apart it has also been quite poor for dragons in my part of the world too.

Habitat loss and pollution are effecting their populations everywhere.
