I saw the heron in a city park that borders the river. The bird was perched on the embankment of a man made lake. Not sure what if was hoping to catch.

Great capture, Belinda, love his snazzy do! Ha, catch anything that is moving has been what I have seen, often incredibly tiny.

What a stunning photo! Green herons are usually difficult to get close to, so this strikes me as a special quiet moment, and lovely with the greenery in the foreground, Belinda.
