STOPS ALONG THE WAY

WELCOME COMMITTEE

There’s an old house in my neighbourhood that has several feeders out front. Sparrows, goldfinch and pigeons drop in often.  The pigeons are quiet and don’t seem to leave any tell tale signs of their presence 😏. I couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating bird.

Interesting post Belinda. I am glad you found a quiet old house with birds that don’t leave tales and don’t make noise. Enjoy your stay there🙌🔥🔥

That looks like a Rock Pigeon, they are a problem in Las Vegas. They love to go where they aren’t wanted but they are attractive birds. 😊

This is an interesting composition, Belinda. We have a lot of Laughing Doves and a few Red-eyed Doves in our garden – I love hearing their calls throughout the day. The Rock Pigeons, though quiet, are very messy indeed: unfortunately some of them choose to perch on our windowsills overnight and every week or so I have to remove piles of guano.
