I often see waterbirds in the shade of this wonderful tree. I always pause here for a while and take it all in. It’s one of my favourite places.

It’s a wonderful place and close by too. Birds, insects, wildflowers and the occasional beaver 😊

That tree looks like it’s standing in water. Is it flooded there? Or is it just at the edge of the dry land?

It’s on the shore’s edge. So far it has survived the flooding in spring.
