    I like the ‘lost’ look and how well the egret stands out, even though it is small!

    We often see herons in the tall grass here. I like this photograph showing one in a different habitat.

    That is a great shot. The egret has blended so perfectly with its environment. The picture can very well inspire a painting.

    I’ve seen them lurking in the tall grass before but have never gotten photos. There must have been something he had his eye on – a frog or a snake, maybe!
