Spring passes quickly here. Yesterday we had record breaking warm temperatures, today we’re back in the deep freeze. A few flowers were urgently called for…
Even here in the Lowcountry the temperature changes have been one extreme. There is an old plantation nearby, Ellen’s favorite for macro, that has flowering bushes people visit from all over the world. Each of the last several years I see less and less blooms due to quick changes in the weather.

This is what I call flip-flop weather, I don’t mean the shoes either. Just stay in Spring mode!

I guess the insects/pollinators are effected too. I think these “extremes” are the new normal.

Same here weather wise. We’re getting hit with a storm coming down from Alaska. You too?
Your flowers are cheerful on a gray stormy day.

No snow here, just bitterly cold now it’s beginning to warm up some. I’m glad my flowers brought a little cheer😊

Thank you, Lynette 😊. Despite the temperature, we’ll be seeing crocus before too long!

That helps give us hope and reminds us what a flower looks like.
