We’ve had some unusual weather for January, mild and rainy; perhaps this is the way it will be going forward. In any event, at the end of a dark wet day, this splash of melba mixed with the grey created a pretty effect.

That is a gorgeous photo. It’s also been unusually warm in northern Sweden where I originally am from (snow free Christmas) as well as here in northern Texas (Dallas) where I live. But Texas sometimes has mild winters.

Thanks very much. We’ve had some snow since I posted this, which is more usual.

Lovely sky Belinda! We’ve had unseasonal windy weather here in Tasmania for months! Still waiting for summer to arrive, though we’ve been treated to the odd glorious day. It does make one appreciate the rare nicer days more.

A beautiful way to close out the day. I always try to catch the sunsets as often as the sunrises!

That’s a stunning capture, Belinda. The sun breaking through the overcast like that is always so beautifully dramatic.

Skies can be so dramatic. This one would have had me running for my camera too.
