
Well, it’s snowing again so here’s a summery alternative to the scene outside my window. I think this is a Long-leaved speedwell but would appreciate a positive I.D.

Very pretty! Looks like gooseneck loosestrife (Lysimachia clethroides) to me.

I did a search and Google came back with “gooseneck yellow loosestrife.” The internet pictures do look like yours. It’s pretty and so lovely to see right now. Very sorry to hear that you’re getting snow again, Belinda. Ugh.

Same here. I don’t know what it is but it looks very nice. Sorry you’re getting more snow. We’re having awful wind and rain but the temperature is going up, so no danger of snow for a couple of weeks, and by then I hope we’ll slide into spring.
Keep up those summery reminders to help give us hope that winter will be over soon.
