We were at a favourite reserve a few days ago on a windless and warm day. A few weeks earlier there was still some ice on the surface of the water. The trees are slow to bud but their branches make for nice reflections.

Even if it’s a bit chilly, hope you packed a picnic lunch or a thermos of coffee to enjoy there.

Lots to like about that picture–including the bare limbs imaged against the water. Nicely done.

Fantastic that the ice is gone! The buds may not be out yet but that definitely looks like a lovely spring day. 😊

We have two freeze watches here for the next few nights after 90 degree days for weeks. It’s a yo-yo. Hopefully some of our fruit and leaves will come out unscathed. Good for these trees up there waiting! It will be worth it. 🤗😊🥰

We’e had a couple of warm days but it’s back to winter coats for a few days. You have to wonder how the wildlife and vegetation will do under these conditions.

Wonderful reflections, Belinda. I hope you have no more ice and I hope that green will be budding on these trees very soon.
