Although we’re just one day into the official start of summer, the season moves along far too quickly. I think I found one of the last of the poppies putting on a nice show.

That’s a pretty colour for a poppy. Usually the only yellowish-orange ones we get are the California poppies, but they have a different shape.

I feel the same, time and the seasons are rushing past way too quickly for my liking. I long for those lingering summers of our youth!
