I haven’t seen many bees this summer, so I was happy to see this one visiting some colourful flowers.

I was so happy to see some butterflies in our backyard this season because last summer I was so worried that I didn’t see any! This changing weather affects the entire ecosystem, unfortunately..

Out on my wanders, yes but varies with the weather, plants, season etc.

Yay! It’s always nice to see them buzzing around. The pink flower has lovely shades of pink.

We went to a spot by the river where we usually see a few egrets and herons, none so far. Fortunately, the smaller birds seem to be well represented.

That’s a beautiful capture, Belinda. I haven’t seen many either. Usually the rhododendrons when they bloom are covered in bees but this year I only saw a few buzzing around. I’ve lately seen one or two at a time but only occasionally.
