
Glancing down towards the water I saw this day-lily growing in the filtered light. Not native to North America, the flower has become naturalized and its their season right now.

splendid when seen in a natural setting. From seeing them in the wild, i always assumed they were native. Where are they from and do you know when they were introduced?

II think so too. They’re native to Asia and India and were introduced to Europe and North America centuries ago.
