I really like Queen Annes’s Lace and feature it here throughout the summer. We’re entering the final leg of summer though when goldenroad begins to appear (the yellow flower in the background).

The way the heat feels here and forecast temps, I think summer might hang on for another month or two. Always like the delicacy and look of this flower.

A lovely picture, Belinda. 🙂 Queen Anne’s Lace is so delicate and fragile. I remember as a child discovering that it smells like carrots. Then as an adult I found out that it’s basically the parent plant of our domesticated carrots. Cheers.
