CHIPMUNK (TWO PHOTOGRAPHS)

We don’t see too many chipmunks anymore. They’re outnumbered by red and grey squirrels. I was happy to see this little fellow enjoying his cracker with no competition from the bigger guys. It looks like his snack just fell out of a picnic basket, his for the asking.

  6. So cute! 🙂 We don’t see chipmunks in our yard at all any longer. Seems like there is less and less wildlife even though our area is very rural.

  10. Lovely photos Belinda! In our American Southwest, we have Golden Mantled Ground Squirrels. They have short ears and a different head shape. Love this little Chipmunk!
