I’ve been very fond of wildflowers lately… and poison ivy has been very fond of me. 🙂

Glad you’ve still got some extensive meadows. They’ve been hit hard in Britain and Europe due to modern agriculture, especially the European Union’s Common Agricultural Policy. These days we divide them between ‘improved’ (basically, grass), ‘semi-improved’ (been fertilised or otherwise changed but still has some flora) and the real, old-school meadows, which have declined by 97% in the UK. I’ve got some of the best survivors on my doorstep and can see 1000+ orchids before breakfast at this time of year. But we need to put far more energy into restoring the damaged meadows elsewhere in the country.

    Beautyful 🙂
Those flowers do not grow in my country.
Do you have a (latin) name for me?
    With kind regards,
    Cécile

I really like wildflowers, which for some grow perfectly in unlikely places

Wildflowers are often small and so delicate.
