This photo was taken in late October. I liked the contrasting shapes and colours of the flowers and leaves. There’s something very appealing about these fading flowers, beauty in their imperfection.

Yes, bee’s balm (bergamot). My friend first introduced me to bee’s balm, and I won’t forget it because, with her Scottish accent, I thought she was calling it “bee’s bum.” Good thing I didn’t go asking for it like that in the nurseries. 😉

I believe so, they’re closely related to bee balm another favourite of mine.
