A chickadee from last spring. Usually at this point, I’m at the reserve looking out for early spring migrants. This year, it’s different for everyone. So for the time being I’ll be posting photos I took earlier last year.

Very nice capture, Belinda! It’s hard to think of all that is going on out in nature that we are missing…nice to have past years’ images to revisit.

Chickadees are our constant companions in MN, and I’m very sad that, with travel restrictions, we may not be able to fly home there from New Zealand in June as we’d planned. I will dearly miss the chickadees, among many other north-woods summer joys.

They are fine little birds. All our parks and reserves have closed here. I too will miss our walks through these woods.

Very Nice Belinda! I also am going through images already taken! They really want everyone by us to stay home. More & more cases by us. To bad, there are two swan nests by a lake we drive by. Stay safe!
