Our ducks are enjoying an ice-free existence this winter, and I don’t hear them complaining. They make swimming look effortless (at least above the water line).

We had flurries on two days. That’s it. No measurable snowfall at all. The only bitter cold we had was back around Christmas. Weird. Ducks don’t seem to mind. 😊

They sure have beautiful colours. We don’t have many wood ducks around here. Only a rare few, but it’s been years since I’ve seen one.
