5 and 6 degrees in the daytime, 1 and 2 at night, keeping mostly above freezing, but it has been very windy and rainy, and that wind cuts like a knife. Still, the green leaves of the daffodils are up about 3 inches.

I often wonder what these “early birds” find to eat as their main diet is grass and vegetation 😏

I quick search for what they eat says they sometimes eat small fish, perhaps that is how they sustain themselves until the weeds grow? I love hearing them fly over my house way down here, sometimes at night! How can they fly at night? Do they have built-in IFL technology?
