A car with headlights on at 1:30 pm… that’s peak Canada energy right there. 😄
It’s funny how winter in Canada never really “arrives” — it just slowly creeps in like,
“Surprise, I’m early. Again.”
And honestly?
Seeing shovels and snow blowers warming up three weeks ahead… it feels like the whole neighbourhood is whispering,
“Brace yourself, buddy.”
There’s something oddly comforting about it though — that shared preparation,
that quiet understanding Canadians have with their weather.
Do you kind of love that unpredictability, or does it drive you nuts on days like this?

Right before we left the north I gave away my snow blower, I’ll never forget the glorious sight of it driving away in the back of a pickup.
