We thought we’d go to a nearby farmer’s market on a recent Saturday. Others had the same idea so instead of facing the crowds we explored the streets around the market. The building I photographed must have been an old warehouse that had been converted into individual businesses including craftmen and artists. Someone painted the fascade with flourish.

I don’t blame you for not feeling like fighting a crowd, the newest form of contact sport! Looks like you made a good second choice. 😉

I feel the same way about crowds 😏. Things worked out nicely enough, thanks!

I love seeing these murals especially in towns I don’t know as they survive a sense of its personality and history. Our Saturday market here gets incredibly crowded and busy. If I’m going, I always try to be there by 9 at the latest, otherwise it’s wall-to-wall people and everything gets picked over so quickly.

I appreciate your comment, Lynette. The artist sure had a large canvass and quite a mix of subjects. As for the market, we did arrive a bit late 😏

That’s supposed to say “they provide a sense of its personality and history.” Spellcheck (now assisted by AI) is beginning to be very annoying. 😁

Beginning? My phone and tablet is constantly battling with me, guessing it knows best.

True. It has been going on for a long time now but lately it has become a lot worse. Exactly – it thinks it knows best.
