I’m somewhat amazed at how well Canada geese get on with other water birds as they can definitely be aggressive, particularly with other geese. I’ve seen ducklings and goslings swimming together in close proximity; they don’t seem to mind herons, either.

I’m surprised the geese ignored the cormorant… clearly it’s NOT breeding season!

These were a placid bunch. I think they’re territorial and aggressive during breeding season though.
