I frequently see Red-winged blackbirds perched on car side mirrors. I was waiting for this one to peer into the mirror but it was content to just stand there.

Do they attack the mirrors at all? That has been reported with blue tits here, trying to get rid of the rival bird behind the glass.

I love seeing this behaviour in birds, we had a Pied Wagtail in love with our car for a while…… or attacking it 🤣
