STOPS ALONG THE WAY

Forget-Me-Nots

I saw these flowers in a nature reserve and assumed they were native plants. Although considerd invasive and can displace native plants, I do like their delicate beauty. As I only saw a few of them growing and they seemed to be contained to a small area, I’ll have to check on them again next year.

I grew up where the streams had this type of smooth forget-me-not growing alongside them. Fond memories!

They’re lovely. You even got an ant or some insect on one.

We know which one is the most invasive species in the planet, Homo 🙂 Anyway, I don’t think that’s something bad, it’s evolution.

I didn’t realize that they are invasive, but I don’t see them very often at all. I think they’re lovely. So pretty and delicate. Beautiful photo of them, Belinda. 😊
