I was so busy focusing on the Green Heron, I only noticed the Wood Duck on the log below when I imported the file. Both birds were concentrating on something as well ๐
What a fun find, and so interesting that the duck wasnโt bothered enough by the heron to move along. Or scare the $#%& out of you while you were focusing on the Green Heron.

Nice scene and rare. I always have no patience for wildlife!

What a happy surprise! Both are in focus too!! I love the Green Heron’s colors they’re as lovely and beautiful as the female wood duck.

Very much so ๐. This is only my second sighting of a green heron this summer; the wood duck in the shot made it even nicer!

Maybe they were looking at the photographer or her companion. What a surprise to see both birds in one photo though.
